<p>First news, from SDCC. There's also a sizzle reel, which I'll link once I can find a decent copy.
</p><p>JN, GP, the big four and Denise The were there. They sound very upbeat, and were clear that the 13 episode order could be extended. They also hinted at finding another location for the show (which is starting on Netflix soon) if CBS does cancel it.
</p><p>What they were also clear about was that no decision about POI's ultimate fate has been made, but that they will write this season so that if it is the last, the story will end well as it is, or can go on.

<p>I'm wondering when the air date for the first episode of season 5 is. All thus far have completed around mid-May. Given the count of 13 episodes during this final season, counting back from June 1 would require the first episode to air on 3/9/2016, which doesn't seem plausible without some announcement being made by now. All of this points to the series extending past June. Or have I missed an announcement?

<p>They're burning it off. Totally stinks how this show was treated. CBS created this situation when they buried it on Tuesdays. I saw something recently about Netflix wanting to keep it going, but I'm not sure how reliable it was.

<p>It is good to have a start date, though it does seem rather irregular to convert to a twice-weekly format, which for 13 episodes could mean the finale as early as June 13.

<p>Words cannot express my anger with CBS. Even ABC gave Lost a full, final season to wrap things up!!! Personally, if I were the writers, they gave us half a season, so I'd write half of a season and let Netflix (or whoever wants it) along with the fans decide the show's fate. Still, if nobody were to be interested, I suppose half an ending overall would be just as dissapointing if not more so. Anyhow, can't wait for this amazing looking season; it already looks like it's going to be good just based on the trailer!
