<p>i2,sorry you didn't like the POI finale(l thought it was quite effective,l just wish CBS would had given the series the full compliment of epis to flesh out some loose ends)but realistically, you can't please everyone(according to the writers/producers,Reese was a deadman walking from the begining,after the passing of the love of his life,he was going to commit suicide before Finch rescued him and gave him a purpose... in war,unfortunately,there are casualties... his last act was to give his friend/employer a chance at a normal/safe life)!!!  </p>

<p>DAMMIT,Limitless(it was such a fun/intelligent show) was cancelled too,FOO to CBS!!! just finished viewing POI: S1 Ep21 "Many Happy Returns" on WGN,what a powerful episode!!! "we're all alone in the end." Reese(sounds familiar to TM's statement in "return 0") ... on to collecting all five season sets,l'am TRULY going to miss this series(the actors,writers,music,etc)!!! </p>

<p>Splatnet,thanks for sharing that Reddit post... essentially The Machine(Ninja)won the battle vs Samaritan(Samurai,pun intended)due to her experience/resourcefulness... </p>

<p>CsPPP,l like your thinking,it would have been TERRIFIC as a closing sequence... </p>

<p>Reese going out in God Mode was poetic... thanks,for five wonderful/entertaining years(hoping for a future series reboot)!!!  </p>

<p>AWESOME epi,l always wondered after Samaritan's implementation/beta test what became of The Machine's Northern Lights assets/operatives were they simply absorbed or discarded,there's no way she could carry out POIs/missions w just FIVE NY based entities!!! here's hoping we see other poss assets such as Caleb Phipps,Zoe Morgan,Frankie Wells,Leon Tao and that hired gun from "Snafu" to name a few... did l just observed Finch using a gun in nxt wk's epi?!!!  </p>

<p>LG,yes, l agree,Ms Groves in a way, is now ONE w her(true love)Deity... </p>

<p>don't get me wrong,it was a moving/powerful epi,but l'am STILL bummed!!! </p>

<p>other than Harold(sorry,Mr.Reese)Root was the most indispensable member of TM(Reese,Fusco&Shaw are foot soldiers)!!! reviewing the epi in my mind,recalling Root's comms w both Harold and Sameen,she foresaw her own passing... notice that both Root&Elias were the main characters encouraging Harold to get off his moral high horse and realize that sometimes it is necessary to 'fight dirty' for the greater good...the fact the Machine choose Root's voice as her own speaks volumes("look at what you done father by not giving me the tools in which to defend/fight!!!")!!! </p>

What a terrific/thought provoking season so far... my favs so far are Snafu&6,741(poor Sameen!!!) ... yeah,l kinda felt that Elias was still alive somewhere... check out the Redbubble site for POI themed products... hey,l need help from my follow POI fans,l'am trying to find the image of Finch&Reese w their backs towards the viewer walking through a tunnel during the show's original opening sequence,it used to be my computer screensaver(my current ss is the scene from last yrs finale w Reese in God Mode protecting The Machine from Samaritan goons)as Piglet would say,help,help,help...  </p>

<p>for anyone who is interested,l came across two interesting Season Five articles while surfing the net... one by Jessica Rawden of Cinema Blend,the other by Vanessa Doctor of The International Business Times resp... </p>

<p>regardless,the one plus the series has for it's continued survival is the fact the fact that CBS doesn't directly own it(l'am hoping Netflix,SyFy,TNT or USA picks it up) ... </p>

<p>yeah,Pretenders was filler,but what I enjoyed about it was the Walter Dang/Jack Forge character,he was clearly over his head in his attempt to replace 'The Man In The Suite' it was in my opinion,besides Wingman,the most hilarious epi of the season. </p>
