Francesca "Frankie" Wells is a bounty hunter based in Florida who becomes a person of interest.
Character Background[]
In an effort to avenge her brothers death, Wells accepted the contract for the bounty on his murderer, Ray Pratt, who skipped bail. Based in Florida, Frankie came to New York to track him down and try to kill him, saying the contract would still work even if she brought him in dead.
Frankie got a job as a waitress and later hostess at Pratt's underground casino operation in New York and tried to kidnap him on her fourth night. When her number was given to Finch and Reese, Reese got into the illegal casino as a customer and caught her trying to kidnap Pratt.
Frankie stole Reese's police badge during the scuffle and used it around town as she hunted down the best fake ID makers in the city. At one of her stops to one named Athena, Reese caught up to her and cuffed her, making it too late when Ray appeared and escaped with Athena — whom Reese identified as Harper Rose. The pair confronted her at a club and bluejacked her phones, only to be tricked into following a car she'd given away to a stranger. Pratt's former partner, Carlton Worthy, whom Pratt had stolen from kidnapped them assuming that Frankie still had an idea where Pratt was and kept them handcuffed together. When Frankie managed to break them out of their cuffs, she kissed Reese and cuffed him to a door to keep him in place while Frankie left to Pratt's hideout in an attempt to kill him.
Once there though, Reese caught up to her again and stopped her from killing him. Pratt made another attempt to run, holding Harper hostage, and they were all caught in a shootout with Worthy's men. Harper made a deal to stop the fight — Worthy will walk away with incriminating information on him, and he lets Pratt but will be arrested by Det. Riley. Wells tried to disagree, still wanting her brother's killer dead, but was begrudgingly convinced by Reese. When bidding Reese and Fusco farewell at the station, Frankie flirted with Reese, hugged him, and asked him to call her when he's "a free man," running into the woman she suspected has Reese's attention on her way out.
